What to do with your waste on vacation ?
At La Jaurie we sort all our waste. There is no residual waste.
What to do?
On arrival, you will be given selective waste bins. There are also bins on site to put all your sorted waste.
We distinguish between :
Bin 1: Compost :
All green waste, paper towels and food waste.
Collect in your own small bucket with a lid and place in the large compost heaps.
Bin 2 Packaging :
All types of packaging. (cardboard and cardboard boxes, plastic bottles and bottles, cans, metal cans, metal trays and bottles, caps and lids).
To be collected in your plastic box and deposited in the yellow sorting bin at the car park
Bin 3 Glass:
All glass bottles and jars without caps or lids can be deposited here.
For apple juice bottles and jam jars there is a deposit.
To be collected in your plastic box and deposited in the green sorting bin at the car park
Bin 4 Hygiene products:
Nappies, tampons, sanitary towels, cotton buds, masks, gloves, cotton, paper towels, tissues, cigarette butts,
To be collected in your transparent 10 or 20 litre bag and deposited at the reception.
