The hills of La Jaurie have been inhabited by men and animals since prehistoric times. Witness the flint arrowheads we found in the stream and the vegetable garden.
The first buildings are already visible on maps from the 17th century. We try to take care of this beautiful piece of land in a respectful way so that we, and those who come after us, can fully enjoy this piece of land and her buildings.
The big project that we are going to start in 2023 is the total renovation of the La Porcherie gite. We are going to make this building accessible to wheelchairs on two floors. It will be two neutral energy apartments that can accommodate 4 to 5 people.
During the construction, volunteers who want to roll up their sleeves for a few hours a day will bevery welcome to come and lend a hand, accommodation and lunch offered.
