Creation of a holiday house accessible to all
Currently we are working on the renovation of a gîte which will be able to accommodate people with disabilities.
Theholiday house will be built on two floors which can be rented separately but also together. The ground floor can accommodate 4 people after renovation and the first floor can also accommodate 4 people. The two floors will have the possibility of being connected by a passage.
The work has several phases.
The first phase is administrative. This project was born thanks to financial support from the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region and the European Union with the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development as part of the Leader Châtaigneraie Limousine program.
The materials which concern the viability of accommodation for people with reduced mobility were purchased during this phase with this support.
The second phase is the preparation of the area. The existing building will be removed and the primary materials sorted. Then the foundation will be made with expanded glass. A recycled and sustainable material.This phase ends in May 2024. Between May 2024 and the end of September 2024 the work stops.
The third phase is construction. It will take place between the end of September 2024 and May 2026
